How we handle your personal data

Controller and contact

The data controller is ujeto Zate d.o.o. For questions about personal data, contact info@ujeto-zate.com.

Data we collect

Our contact form collects your name, email address, message and, if provided, company name and enquiry type. You may voluntarily include additional information in your message. We do not use this information for automated profiling.

Purpose and legal basis

We use the data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations and communicate about potential cooperation. The legal basis is generally taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), or our legitimate interest in responding to other enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).

Service providers and transfers

The website uses Netlify hosting and forms. Netlify may process submitted data on our behalf. If message-copy delivery through Resend is enabled, that provider is also used for email delivery. Processing may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area; the providers’ contractual safeguards should be checked.

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to an order or contract, including related correspondence, are generally deleted within 12 months of the last substantive communication. Where an enquiry leads to a business relationship, relevant correspondence is retained during that relationship and generally for 5 years after it ends where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Records subject to mandatory statutory retention (such as certain invoices and tax records) are kept for the period required by applicable law, which may be longer. Once no longer needed for these purposes, data is deleted or anonymised. These are our intended retention rules, not universal GDPR deadlines for every enquiry.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact info@ujeto-zate.com. You may also complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si).

Cookies and technical data

Google Analytics and consent

Google Analytics 4 loads asynchronously even before consent, but analytics cookie storage is denied by default. Before consent, Google may receive cookieless measurement pings, which are not necessarily anonymous. After consent, standard analytics measurement is enabled. It collects information about visits and site use, such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser details, interactions and submitted enquiries (the generate_lead event). Google may use identifiers and analytics cookies for measurement. The controller is ujeto Zate d.o.o.; Google acts as a processor for the Google Analytics service, although it may process certain data for its own purposes under its terms. Processing may involve transfers of personal data to the United States; applicable safeguards depend on Google’s current contractual terms and certification status under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You may refuse or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link on this page. Withdrawal applies to future collection and does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing. GA4 usage data is retained according to the retention settings in our Google Analytics account; those settings must be verified and aligned with this notice.

Updates

We may update this notice when our processing practices change. Version date: 24 October 2026.
